Private number plates
Disclaimer
Please note that there may be certain restrictions regarding the use of private (cherished) number plates on business vehicles. Prior to purchasing a private (cherished) number plate through the DVLA, it is advisable to verify with your company whether you are authorised to use it on your vehicle
Overview
You can buy a private registration for your vehicle’s number plates from the DVLA website here or from a private dealer.
If you have the right to a private number that is not currently being used, you can apply to assign it (put it on) to a vehicle.
Where KINTO holds the V5 (logbook) to your vehicle, in order to assign a private number to a vehicle or take one off (retention), you need to contact the KINTO admin team.
