At KINTO, we hosted our Macmillan Coffee Morning on 5^th October 2022 to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a fundraising event that people all over the UK host each year. The very first event was organised back in 1990 and since then more than £290 million were raised.

This year, £2.070 million have been raised so far which can fund 33 nurses for a year.

Jeanette Jackson who supported our Coffee Morning by baking a cake said: ”I decided to take pat this year as I recently lost my step dad to cancer. Macmillan have been very supportive to my family during this difficult time so I wanted to do my bit to try and help raise some money for the charity.”

Zoe Viner who was also one of the participants added:” I’ve been supporting Macmillan since my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2007. The support Macmillan provided her, and us, through the whole journey from diagnosis to treatment and finally to the all-clear was invaluable. I want to help give that support to others.”
