At KINTO, we support many good causes. Here are a few examples of some of the activities we’ve organised in the past, to engage our employees whilst supporting local and national charities.
KINTO Coffee Morning 2022
In September 2021, here at KINTO we hosted a Coffee Morning to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a fundraising event to support people living with cancer.
‘Let’s walk together to Tokyo’ campaign
To celebrate the Olympic & Paralympic Games 2020, we invited all KINTO employees to combine efforts and walk together 8,182 miles, which is the distance from our office at Lakeside to Japan National Stadium. The aim of this campaign was not only to contribute to our health and promote activity and wellbeing, but also to raise money for The Guide Dogs for the Blind.
We achieved our goal and even reached 8,982 miles.
Christmas Giving Tree 2021
We’ve teamed up with Portsmouth Hospitals Charity to provide Christmas gifts for patients at the hospital.
On 1st December, one of our trees was filled with gift tags for our staff to pick and donate a gift.
Xmas Jumper Day & Bake sale
On 10th December 2021, we joined people across the UK for Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children.
We also organised a bake sale to help raise funds for Rowans Hospice.
Earth Day 2022
We organised different activities throughout April to celebrate #EarthDay2022. For example, we provided wildflower seeds to all our employees.
There are many benefits of planting wildflowers – they can provide habitat for pollinators, insects and wildlife, which is important for ecosystem function and pollination.
