Our good causes

At KINTO, we support many good causes. Here are a few examples of some of the activities we’ve organised in the past, to engage our employees whilst supporting local and national charities.

KINTO Coffee Morning 2021

In September 2021, here at KINTO we hosted a Coffee Morning to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support charity.

Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a fundraising event to support people living with cancer.

‘Let’s walk together to Tokyo’ campaign

To celebrate the Olympic & Paralympic Games 2020, we invited all KINTO employees to combine efforts and walk together 8,182 miles, which is the distance from our office at Lakeside to Japan National Stadium. The aim of this campaign was not only to contribute to our health and promote activity and wellbeing, but also to raise money for The Guide Dogs for the Blind.

We achieved our goal and even reached 8,982 miles.

Continental Tyre tombola

In October 2021, we celebrated our valued supplier Continental Tyre’s 150th anniversary and helped raise money for Ben Automotive Industry Charity.

Halloween 2021

On Halloween, we organised different initiatives at our office to raise money for our chosen charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Christmas Giving Tree 2021

We’ve teamed up with Portsmouth Hospitals Charity to provide Christmas gifts for patients at the hospital.

On 1st December, one of our trees was filled with gift tags for our staff to pick and donate a gift.

Xmas Jumper Day & Bake sale

On 10th December 2021, we joined people across the UK for Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children.

We also organised a bake sale to help raise funds for Rowans Hospice.

GO BRIGHT for MDUK 

On 11th February 2022, we organised a bake sale to support Muscular Dystrophy’s annual campaign ‘Go Bright’.

Red Nose Day 2022

We joined the annual fundraising campaign Red Nose Day on 18 March to help raise funds for Comic Relief as well as Rowans Hospice. 

 

 

 

Easter Bake Sale 2022

We organised an Easter bake sale in our office right before Easter to help raise money for Rowans Hospice.

Earth Day 2022

We organised different activities throughout April to celebrate #EarthDay2022. For example, we provided wildflower seeds to all our employees.

There are many benefits of planting wildflowers – they can provide habitat for pollinators, insects and wildlife, which is important for ecosystem function and pollination.

Donation Drive Event 2022

We organised a donation drive event at our office in April to support Rowans Hospice.

 

 

National Doughnut Week

In May 2022, we celebrated National Doughnut Week and helped raise money for Rowans Hospice.

Spinnaker Tower Abseil 

In July 2022, 28 KINTO employees abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower and raised over £6650 for Rowans Hospice.

Chiltern 50 Challenge

In September 2022, a group of 10 KINTO employees walked a 50km looped route as part of the Chiltern 50 Challenge to help raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Macmillan Coffee Morning 2022

We hosted our Macmillan Coffee Morning to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Halloween 2022

On Halloween this year, we organised a number of  initiatives at our office to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

 

Christmas fundraising activities 2022

We had a busy December organising Bingo games, Christmas Jumper Day,
bake sale, our annual raffle and setting up the Christmas giving tree!

Easter Bake Sale 2023 

We organised an Easter bake sale again this year to help raise money for Rowans Hospice.

At KINTO, we also have in place different initiatives to support a sustainable work life balance.
