Road Safety Week

Road Safety Week

This week is Road Safety Week, the UK’s biggest road safety event coordinated annually by Brake, the road safety charity.

Road Safety Week aims to inspire thousands of schools, organisations and communities to take action on road safety and promote life-saving messages during the week and beyond.

This years theme is ‘Step up for Safe Streets’ and aims to encourage everyone to ‘step up’ and celebrate solutions that will allow everyone to get around in safe and healthy ways.

How can your company get involved?

Every 20 minutes someone is killed or seriously injured on a British road. And with many road deaths involving vehicles being driven for work and vehicles also causing pollution, it’s time to step up and take action!

The Brake website is full of fun ways to get involved in Road Safety Week, take a look here if you need some inspiration.  Or join their webinar: ‘New vehicle technology for safe and healthy mobility’, happening on the 19 November from 2pm – 3pm GMT.
