KINTO Response to the Coronavirus – 26th March

KINTO Response to the Coronavirus

We recently wrote to notify you of our current activities and plans regarding the coronavirus situation.  We promised to give you a regular update and have provided this below, as at 26th March 2020.

Update

Our Employees & Our Office

As of today, Thursday 26th March, our office Haven House, is now closed other than for a very small skeleton team of staff.

All staff, except the small skeleton team, have now been enabled to work from home.

Staff have access to emails, phone and relevant systems to ensure they can still respond to our customers and drivers during this time.

For those who remain working in our office, we continue to ensure they are working with distances greater than 2 metres between them as well as providing additional hand sanitisers in the office and encouraging good hygiene practices as per government guidelines.

Contacting KINTO

Whilst we have enabled our staff with access to telephone systems, during this very challenging time we may experience longer waiting times than usual and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are therefore asking our customers and their drivers, if the query is not absolutely time critical, to contact us via email rather than phone. This will enable us to prioritise our resources on the telephone to those who are in the most urgent need for telephone support.

BCP Working Party

Our cross-department working party, comprising of senior leaders and subject matter experts, continues to meet on a daily basis and regularly monitors developments both nationally and within our business to ensure we respond quickly to any new guidelines. Any new developments are regularly communicated to our internal staff and provided in updates to our customers and suppliers like this one.

Customer Communications & Operational Updates

On Wednesday 25th March we launched our online Covid-19 Information Hub for customers. This hub provides guidance on operational status, and will be maintained and updated as and when there are changes to any operations.

The hub also includes a copy of all our communications to date.

The hub can be found here.

Further Information

If official advice changes, we will be taking this into consideration and acting further on it.

We will continue to keep you up to date, especially if it looks as though there is a significant impact on either our own services or those of our suppliers.

If you have any questions relating to the above, please speak to your Account Manager who will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Matthew Rumble
